This is an average of the basic expenses that you will see in a well run breeding program. This obviously will change due to where you live due to vet and supply costs being different in different places, but this will give you a pretty good idea. 

A reputable Doberman breeder invests in the absolute best Doberman that can be obtained world wide, they plan carefully and study each pedigrees strengths and weaknesses including the genetic phenotype and genotype. The genotype is the set of genes in our DNA which is responsible for a particular trait. The phenotype is the physical expression, or characteristics, of that trait., they consider longevity and cause of death in each litter they plan, they only use the best sire and dam with proven quality as evidenced by titling and performing all the available health tests pertinent to their particular breed, in our case the Doberman. The litter receives the best care, not to mention all the breeder's time especially during the first critical week of life where the mother and puppies need 24 hour supervision and round the clock care. They spend an incredible amount of time and effort screening potential buyers and then supporting them with their questions and follow up for the rest of the puppies' lives. Unique Dobermans receives an incredible amount of inquiries daily via Facebook, email, text and phone calls about our Doberman puppies for sale, if you do not hear back in a timely manner please reach out to me again, I do not have the best cell service and when I do not have puppies, I try to visit family out of state, take my dogs and horses to the mountains etc.
Our Doberman Breeding program is purposefully kept very small so we can keep our few select Dobermans as valued members of our home and family just as they deserve. Since we are such a small Doberman Breeding operation consisting of a husband and wife, we are also the ones whelping the Doberman puppies, feeding and worrying about the puppies, taking care of and loving the Dobermans, playing with the Dobermans, Training the Dobermans, videoing and photographing the Dobermans, emailing, texting and Facebook messaging prospective Doberman puppy buyers and giving lifelong support to our existing Doberman owners etc.
​Because of that, our Doberman program here is quite unique, small and rare.
